Boat cleaning and valeting

An essential way to maintain the value of the boat and to keep the boat looking good all year round.

• Interior carpet and upholstery cleaning
• Exterior deep cleaning

Machine polishing

If the boat is dull or oxidized then the boat needs to be machine polished to get the best finish. A compound is applied by machine, followed by a lighter finishing material also by machine to give a mirror finish. The boat is then protected with a performance wax which will make the boat look sensational as well as protecting it.

Teak renovation

Old weathered teak can make the boat look much older that it is. We can renovate and seal the teak to not only make it look new but to protect it and keep it looking sensational.

For sale ‘prep’

If you are selling your boat then this service is essential. Boat Mate will make an assessment of the boat and tell you what we think needs to be done for the boat to look great on the pontoon for potential buyers.

• Teak treatment

Antifouling & Anodes

Replacing antifoul and anodes regularly is crucial for the protection and performance of the boat. Boat Mate has the knowledge and experience to make sure that this job is organised and carried out to the highest standard.

• Arrange delivery of boat to lift out or dry dock
• Lift of vessel
• Pressure wash hull
• Strip back old antifoul(if necessary)
• Removal of old anodes
• Apply new antifoul
• Replace anodes
